Synopsis: Artemisa overdoses, lives. In 1954, an ambulance hits her, she lives. Another chapter in the life of an unconventional single mother. The follow up to El Neceser Rojo is not a story of healing, but of survival as residue. Of single motherhood as aftermath, not resolution. Set in Mexico, it asks what agency looks like within domestic and patriarchal confines, and whether it ever truly existed at all.
